Killabot:
Bags are heavy. Yay for wheels.
Airport food is disgusting, small and expensive which make Tahn very grunmpy. Try to remind him of light at the end of air tunnel and get met with hungry scowl.
Watched ” Up ” & ” Christian the Lion” on plane entertainment and was kept entertained for 3 hours. only 11 more to go, wooo. Luckily, I like clouds and there was plenty of those to look at. Except when the dark came and the struggle for sleep commenced. Lights were forced on and breakfast was announced, it was 3am australian time and the food was disgusting. Sleep dep delirium and nausia set in.
Getting off the plane was a miricle and we were waved through customs quickly when Dotahn was asked by a customs officer if he was a rock star, to which he answered “No, I’m a video artist” Ah, the life of a Video star wife.
Eyeman:
The morning of the great departure came quickly and was met by a large amount of waiting. Strange how the previous waiting moved past rapidly, while the waiting in transit was a lifetime. Airports and discomfort, unfamiliar smells, accents and time changes which I try to ignore. The flights, which I tried to brush off as being a trifle were arduous. Time lengthened and my muscles contracted. I sit in front of a screen so much in my regular life without a twitch or a twinge, but get me on a plane and the same task becomes a very different experience. Cloud worlds soon lose their glory and the excitement wears thin as it is replaced by hunger and boredom.
Sydney airport, like most airports I suppose, has come to resemble a large shopping mall. One of my favorite places!! Lots of people, unafordable junk which I don’t really care to look at and bad food. Fun!
Arrivals still maintain a sense of magic though.
ps I love ‘Up’ but Uncle Grant thought it was sad and inappropriate for children. lol
Feeling cloudy, shout out loudly
on a plane, with your brain
overseas, updates please
peace and love, from above
